Wood Burned Portrait
You’ve made it to the right place! Here is where you can order for a commissioned pet portrait using pyrography (wood burning) on a wooden birch or basswood cradled canvas. Once the portrait is burned and approved the surface is coated in a UV protectant coating. The back of the canvas will have a sawtooth bracket attached for hanging unless otherwise requested.
All portraits are burned using a pyrography pen. Mine specifically is the Colwood Super Pro II. This creates a sepia or black and white effect but no color is added unless requested. I will use white pencil and/or paint pen to highlight spots in the eyes or lightly over white spots on the fur to make it pop.
